Educational Background
Coni Arseneau received a BSW from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign School of Social Work in 1989. And her MSW in 1992. She joined the faculty as a clinical assistant professor in July 2000 and accepted the position of Director of Field Education in July 2002.
Coni Arseneau has practice experience in the areas of child welfare and mental health with a particular interest in working with young children experiencing mental health issues and/or behavioral disorders. Prior to coming to the University, she held the position of Clinical Supervisor at Family Services of Champaign County. She also worked at the Community Resource and Counseling Center in Paxton as a child and family therapist and at the Children’s Home and Aid Society in Champaign as a child welfare case manager. She was a consultant to the Children’s Home and Aid Society and was contracted to provide clinical supervision to Family Education and Support Services.
Coni Arseneau is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Illinois.
