Educational Background
Carol received her bachelor in psychology from Eastern Illinois University in 1990. She then earned her MSW from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1991.
Carol has worked in the areas of child welfare and mental health with emphasis in residential treatment. Her current practice interests include child welfare, pregnant and parenting teen wards of the state, and child and adolescent mental health and juvenile delinquency issues. She provides in-service trainings on multiple topics including cultural diversity awareness. Carol joined the School of Social Work in 2003 as a Field Education Liaison.
